Brief History About the Section

The E-Learning and Knowledge Management Section is one of four sections under the Directorate of ICT Services. The section plays a crucial role in developing, deploying, and managing the university LMS to facilitate online learning and provide access to educational resources for students, faculty, and staff.  With the advancement of technology, the section continuously updates and enhances the university's LMS platforms to ensure a seamless and interactive learning experience.

Another mandate of the section is the design, development, and deployment of the university website. The section's staff collaborates with other offices in managing the website's content, ensuring that it is up-to-date, accurate, and reflective of the university's mission and values while using feedback from stakeholders to enhance it. The web team resolves any technological difficulties that may emerge and ensures that the website stays accessible and error-free.
